This is a transcription of a lecture that was given at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in 1965, an artist's residency program in Skowhegan, Maine (www.skowheganart.org). It is part of an Archive of lectures recorded from 1952 to the present, which are available in audio form on CD at this institution. It is important to note that most of these lectures incorporated visuals, which are not available at this time. Anderson was a faculty artist at Skowhegan in 1965 and 1967.

Painter Lennart Anderson shows a chronological selection of his paintings, drawings and pastels, and comments on his evolving interests in style, color, and subject matter. Anderson also addresses certain recurring themes and figures and the artists who have influenced him at different points in his career.
